Andrea L. LeGendre is running for Genesee County Probate Judge bringing 25 years of courtroom experience, a record of fairness, and a deep commitment to the families and individuals this court serves.

Because Families Deserve a Thoughtful Judge...
— Andrea

Families deserve a Probate Judge who understands the difficult decisions they face and has spent a career protecting children, vulnerable adults, and families.

Meet Andrea

Probate Court handles some of the most personal moments in a family's life—a loved one's illness, a child in need of protection, or the appointment of a guardian for someone who can no longer speak for themselves.

These decisions deserve a judge who listens carefully, knows the law deeply, and understands what is at stake for real families.

Andrea LeGendre has spent 25 years serving the people of Genesee County in its court system. Her Probate Court experience began at the very start of her legal career while she was still in law school, serving as a law clerk for Judge Thomas Gadola in the Genesee County Probate Court. That early experience gave her firsthand insight into the court's responsibility to protect children, support families, and safeguard vulnerable adults.

She went on to build a distinguished career as an Assistant County Prosecutor and Bureau Chief, overseeing matters involving guardianships, child protection, elder abuse, mental health, family, and felony cases. For more than two decades, she has worked on the very legal issues that regularly come before the Probate Court, bringing experience, sound judgment, and compassion to every case.

From her first days in the Probate Court to her decades of public service, Andrea has built a career dedicated to protecting the most vulnerable members of our community. She is running because she is prepared to serve on day one, and because Genesee County families deserve a Probate Judge with the experience, integrity, and steady judgment to make life's most important decisions.
